Consider a script that combines measurement CSV files and calculates sample means. Running without an error does not establish that the columns, units and missing values were interpreted correctly.
Which small tests do you run before using such a script on real data?
Would your test file include empty cells, decimal commas, duplicates or mixed units? How do you compare the output with a manual calculation?
